37 weeks....

I have officially reached full term, woo hoo!  He is now welcome to come whenever he is ready.  Over the weekend we had our last two showers.  Oh my goodness he has so much stuff!  I think his closet is already bigger than Ryan's.  I had some pretty good contractions on Friday...but they didn't amount to anything :(  I guess the waiting game begins now...if only he could give us a little hint about when he will be here!!  So for now, here are belly and shower pictures...

35 weeks!!

I can't believe that it is the last day of 2011!!  I think 2012 is going to be a very exciting year for the Neahr house.  I am officially 35 weeks, I can't believe I am that far along.  I officially feel ridiculously pregnant.  The last two weeks have made me realize just how far along I am.  I definitely get tired really easily, I have started to swell in my hands and feet a little, and I have even had a few contractions.  I go to the doctor this coming week for my last ultrasound, so hopefully they will be able to tell me how big he is and maybe an estimate if he will be coming early.  The nursery is finally ready and it looks great!!  Can't believe that any day now he could be here!!  Here are some belly and nursery pics....

Baby shower!

My friends and family gave us the most wonderful baby shower over the weekend.  We are so blessed to have so many people who already love our little boy so much.  We got so many fantastic things.  He is going to be one stylish dude!!  Here are some pics...

31 weeks...

I can't believe we are already at 31 weeks.  That means only 9 weeks until baby!!  9 weeks, that is in the single digits, crazy!  We are still working hard on getting things done around here.  And by we, I really mean, Ryan is working hard.  He is done painting the nursery and has moved on to refinishing a dresser for the room.  We had a great Thanksgiving with family.  It was very nice that we did not have to travel this year.  I highly recommend to everyone to wear maternity pants for Thanksgiving, makes the after meal stomach bulge much easier to handle :)

29 weeks!!

Hello 3rd trimester!!  Can't believe the first two are already done.  He will be here before we know it.  Here are some pictures from the past few weeks...

Just 11 more weeks until we get to meet the little guy.  Ryan has been working hard on the nursery, he is almost finished painting.  We got so many presents at the shower, can't wait to start putting them up in his room.  Every time we get something new or get something else done it becomes more real.  We will have a baby in just a few weeks, ahhhh!! 

26 weeks!

At 24 weeks I went back for another ultrasound.  On the previous ultrasound his head was tucked in so they couldn't see his face and brain, so they needed to go back and get another look.  The sonographer said he looked great, still progressing perfectly!  His legs were measuring a week ahead and his stomach was a week behind, so it looks like he is going to be tall and skinny!  He is kicking a lot more lately, which is fun until he karate chops me right in the bladder.

My patients at work are just now starting to notice that I am showing, which makes for funny conversations at times.  I have this really sweet lady who is in her 80's and she was talking away and in mid sentence she asks, "Are you pregnant?"  And I said I was.  And she replied, " Oh good, I thought to myself, I hope that girl didn't go get herself fat!!".  Haha!  I can't wait until I am 80 and can say whatever I want and it always be cute!  Another patient brought be a baby present--it is a shirt that has bedazzled rhinestone letters and says "Thanks Mom for the womb and board!".  It is cute.  Ryan just got home from a 3 week trip to Australia, so now that he is back the nursery decorating will begin, woo hoo. 

23 weeks!
