Beach trip...

This past weekend we spent a few days soaking up the sun in Panama City, Florida.  It was very nice to just relax on the beach for a while.  We went with my parents and Aunt Patty (to celebrate her 50th birthday!!!).  Here are some pics...

I am now officially 17 weeks.  Sorry, no baby bump pic this week, but really it doesn't look too much different from my last pic.  I am waiting for at least a little baby bump so I will start getting some sympathy, haha.  I did have my first "pregnant brain" moment.  I thought that was just a pregnancy myth....but I now I believe in it.  When we were at the beach I was making queso in the microwave.  Ryan walked over and started yelling, there is a spoon in there!!  I had accidentally left the spoon in the bowl and put it in the microwave.  Luckily it didn't spark and catch the whole place on fire.  Ooops.  Blame it on the baby :)  It is nice to have a scapegoat for all of my dumb moments, hee hee.  3 more weeks until we find out the sex of the baby.  Still no ideas on names yet...we are open to suggestions :)

15 weeks

It was Ryan's bday on Friday, so we went out to eat at Babe's Chicken.  YUM!  They made him do the chicken dance, hahahahah

I go back to the doctor on Thursday, so hopefully everything will still be looking good.  5 more weeks until we find out the sex of the baby, so exciting!

The Evolution of girls weekend...

Two weekends ago I got to get together with my wonderful old college friends--Katy, Angela, Stephani, Emily and Gail.  We try to get together once a year to catch up since we live so far apart.  I was looking back at the old pictures today and it made me laugh, in each year one of us is pregnant!  Here is a look back at the pictures...

13 weeks...

A few things I've learned this week...

-no more watching Extreme Home Makeover while pregnant.  I cried during the whole darn thing, stupid pregnancy hormones.

-When you tell a 5 year old you are pregnant, if you don't have a baby bump, they won't believe you.

-After being nauseated for the last several weeks, I finally took some nausea medicine.  Praise the Lord for Zofran.  That stuff is like crack, within minutes I was feeling better.  So on Wednesday I finally got an appetite back, so I went on a binge eating episode, no lie.  When I came home and told my mom all that I had eaten, she couldn't stop laughing.  Then she took some Pepto because just talking about it made her sick.  I was supposed to gain a pound this week, I think I gained it all in one day.

12 weeks!!

I am officially 12 weeks today!!  It feels good to be done with the first trimester.  If only I could be done with the nausea, that would be nice!!  I went to the doctor on Thursday and had another sonogram.  Oh my goodness, the baby has grown so much in the last four weeks.  I couldn't believe how much more you could see.  It was really neat getting to see the baby's little arms and legs moving all over the screen, the little booger wouldn't sit still!!  It is also exciting to be a 12 weeks because we no longer have to keep it a secret!  It's been really hard :)  Here are a few pics from the week.

Our first baby purchase.  We found a great deal on an infant carrier and stroller.  We are horrible and made Reese try it out, she of course hated it, haha!

Surprise!!!

Ryan and I are very excited to announce that we are expecting a baby!!   I am due January 29th.  We have known for a few weeks now and have anxiously been waiting to spread the news.  So far, both mom and baby are very healthy and feeling okay.  Here are some pics, enjoy!!
