Hudson's birth story

I still can't believe that he is here!!  Hudson, Ryan and I are all doing great.  Mom and Dad are a little sleep deprived, but otherwise can't complain.  Reese is in love!!  She doesn't like it when he gets out of her sight, she has to go everywhere with him.  Hudson was actually born on Reese's third birthday, January 20th is a good day in our house!  So I thought I would update with more info about his birth and some pictures from the last few days.
Birth story (this may be TMI for some of you, if so, please skip to the pics, haha!!)...Thursday had been just like any other day.  Went to work, felt fine.  Even went to the doctor, he said I was only dilated to 1 cm and I scheduled my appt for next week.  About 10 pm Ryan and I got in bed and about 5 minutes later my water spontaneously broke.  We were both pretty shocked, we definitely were not expecting that.  I was not having any contractions at all.  So we called the doctor, then my parents to come get Reese and we headed out for the hospital, still in shock, but surprisingly very calm.  By the time we got to the hospital I was only having very small contractions and dilated to still just 1 cm.  They started some medication to help my contractions along and by 4 AM I was feeling them!!  By 7 AM I was miserable and finally got my epidural.  Praise Jesus for epidurals, best thing ever invented!!!!  Life was much better after that and my labor started progressing much more rapidly.  By noon I was dilated to 10 cm and ready to push.  After less than an hour of pushing, Hudson was born at 1:22 pm.  He did have the cord wrapped around his neck once, but he was otherwise perfect.  I must say, the labor and delivery process went very smoothly and I feel very blessed that it went the way it did.  I am very thankful for a great doctor, amazing L&D nurse and a very calm and supportive husband.  And the end product was perfect.
We stayed two nights in the hospital and we came home on Sunday.  Since then, things have been going great.  We are of course not getting great sleep since he is eating every 3 hours, but he really is a great baby.  He sleeps so much and is rarely fussy.  He LOVES being swaddled, the bigger the blanket the better.  When we left the hospital he had lost some weight, but we went to the doctor yesterday and he had gained some of it back, yay!  The doctor said he was looking wonderful, but he is starting to get a little jaundice, so we have to go back again tomorrow to get him rechecked.
Ryan's parents are here for a few days helping out, which has been wonderful.  And of course my parents have been here spoiling the little man too.  Ryan and I still can't believe that he is here and he is ours :)  Here are some pics from the last few days...
